2016 Ram 1500 | 24x14 2-Piece Forged · Full Polished Deep Lip

Model: RC1052-1XT2-2414

Built around an uncompromising 24×14 footprint, this Ram wheel is less about adding diameter and more about exploiting physical depth. The forged center sits dramatically inboard of the outer rim, allowing the stepped lip to become a major part of the wheel’s architecture rather than a narrow decorative edge. Full mirror polish carries that depth from the face through the barrel, while ET-76 gives the completed wheel the unmistakable stance this specification was designed around.

    Engineering Notes

Deep-lip proportions this extreme are governed by geometry, not styling language. At 24×14 with ET-76, the center position, barrel width and outer rim depth all influence one another. The finished wheel cannot be understood simply as a “24-inch truck wheel”; its 14-inch width and strongly negative offset are what create the extraordinary section depth visible in the workshop images.

Two-piece construction is especially relevant at this scale. A separate forged center and rim section allow the deep outer profile to exist as genuine wheel volume rather than as a shallow recess machined around a monoblock face. Hardware is torque-controlled during assembly, after which the wheel is sealed and pressure-tested as part of the documented production process.

Mirror polishing becomes more demanding as the exposed metal area grows. Long barrel surfaces reflect continuously from one section to the next; waviness, machining marks or uneven preparation become obvious under direct light. On this design, finish quality therefore depends heavily on the accuracy of the underlying machining before the polishing stages begin.

Load capacity keeps the project grounded in more than visual impact. Each wheel is listed at 23 kg with a 1,000 kg load rating, alongside a 6×135 PCD and 87.1 mm center bore.

Assembly integrity is especially important when an independent rim section carries this much width and depth. Dimensional inspection confirms the hub and offset geometry, while sealing, pressure testing and surface inspection address the areas most relevant to a finished 2-piece wheel of this scale.

    • CMM dimensional inspection on PCD, bore & offset
    • Torque-spec assembly hardware, sealed & pressure-tested
    • Mirror-polish surface inspected for flawless finish
    • Dynamic balancing on every wheel
    • Load-rated to 1000kg per wheel

    Result

Depth is what gives this wheel its authority.

Viewed straight on, the relatively fine multi-spoke center keeps the face from looking excessively heavy. Move off-axis and the character changes completely: the 14-inch width exposes a long polished barrel, while the recessed center makes the outer section appear even deeper.

Full polish reinforces that effect without relying on contrasting colors. Reflections travel across the rim, face and barrel, allowing the physical proportions of the wheel to remain the dominant feature.

24×14 Is a Package, Not Just a Wheel Size

Width this substantial changes how the entire wheel occupies the vehicle.

Fourteen inches of section width gives the rim considerably more physical volume than a conventional truck setup. ET-76 then positions that volume aggressively relative to the mounting surface. Both figures have to be considered together.

    Why ET-76 Matters

Offset is the key to understanding the appearance.

Strongly negative ET moves the mounting pad much farther inward relative to the outer rim. That relationship is what produces the deep center position and pronounced outward section visible in this build.

Square Sizing Does Not Mean Conservative

All four corners use 24×14 ET-76.

No front/rear stagger is needed because every wheel already carries an extreme width and offset specification. The square layout simply repeats the same visual mass around the truck rather than reserving it for the rear axle.

This Fitment Should Never Be Copied Blindly

Suspension height, body clearance, tire width and intended wheel position all become critical when dimensions reach this range.

Another Ram 1500 should therefore be developed from its actual configuration rather than assuming 24×14 ET-76 is transferable simply because the vehicle model is the same.

  • FAQs
    xiajiantou

    1. What size are these Ram 1500 2 piece forged wheels?

All four wheels measure 24×14 with ET-76.

    2. What creates such a deep lip?

The effect comes from the combination of 14-inch width, strongly negative offset and genuine two-piece construction.

    3. Is the deep lip only decorative?

No. The outer section is a physically separate rim component rather than a shallow styling groove machined into a one-piece wheel.

    4. How much does each wheel weigh?

The listed finished weight is 23 kg per wheel.

    5. What load rating is specified?

Each wheel carries a listed 1,000 kg load rating.

    6. What hub dimensions are used?

The project records 6×135 PCD with an 87.1 mm center bore.

    7. Can another Ram 1500 use the same ET-76 fitment?

Not automatically. Wheel position should be checked against suspension, body clearance, tire specification and the intended stance before machining.
