Fine-mesh machining is the demanding part of this design. Dozens of narrow forged strands intersect across the face, creating far more tool paths and visual reference points than a conventional five-spoke wheel. Spacing, strand thickness and transitions need to remain consistent because even a small irregularity becomes obvious when repeated around the complete radial pattern.
Carbon plays a completely different role. Current Engineering Notes identify the outer ring as a cosmetic carbon overlay, while the forged 6061-T6 aluminum face and barrel remain responsible for structural loading. Keeping those functions separate in the copy is important—this is not a structural carbon barrel, and it should not be marketed as one.
Front dimensions are 19×10 ET42 at 14 kg. Rear dimensions increase to 20×11 ET43 at 15.6 kg. Even though the offset changes by only one millimeter, diameter and width both grow at the rear, creating a noticeably stronger rear wheel without moving to an extreme offset strategy.
