    Engineering Notes

    The G90 M5 is a plug-in hybrid—significantly heavier than the previous generation—so reducing rotational mass without sacrificing strength was the core challenge. Our forging kept each wheel to just 14–15kg even at this large staggered diameter, cutting unsprung weight versus the OEM wheels for sharper steering response. Each wheel is rated at 950kg load capacity, giving a safe margin over the M5's per-corner curb weight. The aggressive 22x12 rear was engineered with a deep-concave profile and ET20 offset to fill the M5's wide rear arches with a flush, motorsport stance.
