    Engineering Notes

    XINGTU's engineers built this as a true 2-piece forged wheel: the matte-black mesh face is forged from 6061-T6 with continuous grain flow, then bolted to a separately forged barrel using torque-spec, pressure-tested stainless hardware (the visible ring around the lip). On a wagon as heavy and powerful as the M5 Touring — a 2-tonne-plus twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid — that bolted joint is the critical detail: XINGTU's engineers torque each fastener to spec and pressure-test the assembly for seal, so the face and barrel behave as one unit under cornering, braking, and full torque load.

    The 2-piece layout is what lets XINGTU's engineers tune the lip depth and concavity exactly to the M5 Touring's arches while holding every dimension to tolerance. The 66.6 mm bore is machined hub-centric so the wheel rides on the hub, not the studs. Two items XINGTU's engineers flagged to the customer: the spec plate lists a 5x132 bolt pattern while the OEM M5 Touring is 5x112, and no lug-seat type is specified — both must be confirmed before production to guarantee a safe bolt-on fit and correct clamping torque.
