XINGTU's engineers want to be clear on one point up front: the carbon fiber outer ring on this wheel is a cosmetic/decorative element, not a structural barrel. All load — cornering, braking, impact, and the XM's massive torque — is carried by the forged 6061-T6 face and barrel. The carbon ring is bolted on for visual effect only, so the structural rating never depends on it.

The forged structure itself is a true monoblock: XINGTU's engineers cut the multi-spoke face and barrel from one continuous forged billet, preserving unbroken grain flow from the hub to the rim for maximum fatigue strength. This matters enormously on the XM — at roughly 2,700 kg, it is one of the heaviest performance vehicles BMW has ever built, so the 23" forged face has to be both light and immensely strong. XINGTU's engineers verified the 15×32×60° taper lug seat against the BMW OEM standard — correct seat geometry is essential for proper clamping torque and is a direct safety factor. The 66.5 mm bore is machined hub-centric so the wheel rides on the hub, not the studs. Net result: a dramatic 23" carbon-ringed wheel at just 21.8 kg that still meets the structural demands of a 2.7-tonne super-SUV.
