Two things define this build. First, the load demand: at 2,300 kg with 577 hp, the GLE 63 S is one of the heaviest, most powerful coupe-SUVs on the road
—so the forged 6061-T6 face is engineered to a 900 kg-per-wheel rating even in a massive 23" diameter. Note the lug seat: this Mercedes uses a ball (radius) seat (15×32×R14), not the taper seat common to most cars—get this wrong and the lug nuts won't torque correctly, a genuine safety issue, so we machined the exact ball profile to OEM spec. Second, the carbon fiber outer ring: it's a cosmetic carbon overlay that gives the wheel its layered, motorsport-aero look—the structural load is carried entirely by the forged aluminum face and barrel, while the carbon ring adds visual depth without compromising strength. We held the 5x112 / CB66.6 hubcentric bore to AMG's exact spec, and dialed the staggered ET33/19 to fill the wide coupe-SUV arches with safe clearance over the oversized AMG brakes.
