    Engineering Notes

The ET50 offset is the smart call for the S550 chassis—the Mustang runs a high factory offset, and matching it keeps the wheel face flush in the arch without spacers or fender rubbing, preserving the OEM steering and suspension geometry. We held the 5x114.3 / CB70.5 bore hubcentric to Ford's exact spec for a vibration-free fit on the Coyote-powered GT. The milled face is a two-tone machining job: the gunmetal base is cut back to bright aluminum on the spoke faces and lip, so the CNC pass has to be flawless—
there's no paint to hide behind on a machined finish. Done in forged monoblock, it's lighter and far stronger than the cast wheels this retro look usually comes on.
