2014 Mercedes-Benz SL 550 (R231) | 19" 2-Piece Forged · Polished Face + Carbon Fiber Trim Ring

Model: CD-11

The SL 550 is a grand-touring roadster — fast, heavy, and unapologetically luxurious. This owner wanted a wheel that pushed it toward the supercar end of the spectrum without losing its refinement. XINGTU delivered a 19" two-piece forged set with an intricate web-spoke polished aluminum face dressed with a genuine carbon fiber trim ring — a real lightweight-luxury statement at just 10.5 kg per wheel.

    Engineering Notes

The Evora runs an unusually high rear offset—ET63—and getting that wrong means the wheel either fouls the suspension or sits proud of the arch. We machined to the exact ET47/63 staggered spec and held the 5x114.3 / CB68.1 bore hubcentric so there's zero vibration on a chassis this communicative. At 11.3 kg the forged monoblock comes in well under a comparable cast wheel, preserving the Evora's low unsprung mass—the very thing that makes its steering feel telepathic. The polished-silver finish over a forged face is a precision job: any waviness shows instantly under a mirror polish, so the face must be CNC-perfect before polishing.
